Matt White's "getting out my small town" ambitions fueled his comedy dreams. He started in College at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. By creating a comedy organization, "Seriously Clowning", which years later lead to what is now the current comedy scene in the area. His "If you build it, the funny will come" mentality and a strong work ethic gained him some notoriety by winning Port City Top Comic 2012, Carolina's Funniest Comic 2013, Finalist in several other comedy competitions. Since then, he has performed at colleges, comedy clubs, and comedy festivals (Red Clay Comedy Festival, Scruffy City Comedy Festival, Glida's LaughFest, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Ventura Comedy Festival, Hell Yes Fest & Laugh Your Asheville Off) throughout the country.
He has became a regular at Goodnights Comedy Club as well as one of the Stand Up Comedy Instructors for their Comedy Academy. He is also an Instructor/Company Member at Moonlight Stage Company in Raleigh NC. Where he teaches, produces, & performs in Improv, Stand up, and Sketch comedy shows.
His brand of observational humor, improv & theatre training is a perfect combination to give audiences a little something different at each show. He has opened for Tig Notarto, Alonzo Bodden, Tim Meadows, Rory Scovel, Sean Patton, Donnell Rawlings and many more.
There is never a dull room with the enticing laugh and refreshing atmosphere from comedian, Shari Díaz. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, she switched up her stomping grounds for Raleigh, NC bringing the Nasty North to the Dirty South to show them what they've been missing. Her crossover appeal, crowd working skills, and Latin flavor has quickly built a platform and a diverse following ranging from hipsters to moms screaming for a night out. With all the positive feedback, she founded Boogie Down South Productions as an avenue for local comedians to collaborate and bring forth gut wrenching shows. Shari Díaz is a Co-Producer for the first official Raleigh comedy festival called, Oak City Comedy Festival.
Her accolades include opening for one of the original “Latin Kings of Comedy”, Joey Medina, and has set the stage for The Lucas Brothers and Maria Bamford. Shari Díaz performed at North Carolina’s Comedy Festival 2018 in Greensboro, NC, and at Big Pine Comedy Festival 2018 in Flagstaff, AZ where she won “Best of Fest”. She performed at Bechdel Test Fest in Philly and DC's Comedy Festival in 2019. She was a Finalist at 2018’s NC’s Funniest Contest at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh, NC.
